The Terminator Nerd Rage

Terminator Level NerdRage!

I've been asked way too many times about the whole scenario behind the Terminator films (often this week), its storyline and the debates in regards to the time paradoxes...I'm here to set the whole scenario straight in this mini-walkthrough of the entire Terminator timeline...well, not the whole cake (the cake is a lie), more like a proper and fulfilling slice of pie.

Why Loki is a Villain, Not a Puppet

E-mail Print PDF

So, I recently signed up on Tumblr and have been flooded with reblogs and posts and pictures and fanart of Avengers, mostly centered on Loki. What can I say? I love the bad boys.

Yes, yes I do.

I was fully aware beforehand that Loki had a massive fangirl following (and I mean that sincerely, not judgmentally) due to Tom Hiddleston’s excellent portrayal of the god of mischief and lies in Thor last year. Well, since he went completely batshit in Avengers, he’s gained quite a few more fans, like when Heath Ledger’s Joker got more fangirls than Batman (wtf?). I was unaware, however, that a certain portion of these fans are under the impression that Loki’s actions in Avengers were not his own and that he was in fact being controlled by some outside force. Since I’ve been fascinated with Loki as a character for years in mythology and now with his onscreen interpretation (and I have the kind of time to do something like this), I wanted to address the hypothesis that he's little more than a plaything for a character we only see for literally two seconds after all is said and done, as well as the thought that all he needs is a cuddle session to be a better person.

All the Avenger Hoopla has Sparked some Rumors

E-mail Print PDF

Recently there have been some crossover conversations on our Facebook and Twitter about rumors springing up all over the Internet regarding the next possible Marvel team being brought to the big screen for the next Avengers film (If you've been paying attention much of it is prior to the Avengers film being announced). I wanted to address some of these "theories" and point out why they are merely nerd-fueled rumor, and why they won't be something you'll see anytime soon. The rumors have sprung up because of the surprise appearance we got at the end of the film, where we see ( ***Spoiler Alert*** after the bump)...

With The Avengers out in full swing, and the box office exploding this weekend. It's about time to put an end to the ridiculous rebooting of the Hulk franchise. Breaking: Avengers Smashes Box Office Records!

E-mail Print PDF

This should come as no surprise to anyone who hasn't been living under a rock for the past three months: The Avengers has surpassed the $200 million mark in its opening weekend, making it the largest domestic opening in history! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 slipped down to second place with an opening of $169 million last year, while The Dark Knight takes third place with $158 million. The total take worldwide for Avengers has already come to over $600 million in less than two weeks! See what happens when you give the fans what they want and do it brilliantly? Take a lesson, 20th Century Fox.

Grimm Fairy Tales Kickstarter Grand Total

E-mail Print PDF

Thanks to a rush of backers in the final hours, Zenescope Entertainment surpassed their original goal of $175,000 to produce a brand new animated series based on their highly popular Grimm Fairy Tales comics! The grand total raised was $188, 970! That's all thanks to you guys! Without the support of dedicated fans like you, this would never have become a reality! Production should be starting soon and hopefully we'll be graced with the pilot episode before the end of the year! Can I get three cheers for Zenescope and their awesome fans?!
