This should come as no surprise to anyone who hasn't been living under a rock for the past three months: The Avengers has surpassed the $200 million mark in its opening weekend, making it the largest domestic opening in history! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 slipped down to second place with an opening of $169 million last year, while The Dark Knight takes third place with $158 million. The total take worldwide for Avengers has already come to over $600 million in less than two weeks! See what happens when you give the fans what they want and do it brilliantly? There are movies we anticipate, we wonder if the hype is all a load of bull, and we essentially hope that it won't be a pile of crap. Another film preying on the hopes of a fandom, only to suck us in for an immediate gain of market share and profit.

I've talked to a few other people that have also seen the early screeners, and I have talked to folks on our social networks that have not, the concensus is that 99% of the audience has yet to experience what I can state is the best Comic book film I have ever seen. I highly suggest you go get your better halves, or your buds; go to your nearest movie theater and experience this film.

I have no words to describe how freaking amazing this movie will be! My hat is off to you, Mr. Nolan.

The second trailer for The Dark Knight Rises just hit the Internet mere hours ago! In it, we get our first looks at Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate (whomever she may really be), Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John blake, and a better look at Tom Hardy as Bane.
