Because I thought of Vultan earlier tonight...which led me to Youtube for footage of Flash Gordon, which reminded me of this hilarious show (Have I Got News For You)

I always remember watching the original Tick cartoon, and I also remember laughing my ass off - it's quirky, a bit ridiculous (if not a lot ridiculous) and it has a weird charm to it.  Unfortunately the Live action series - which on paper and in production stills like the one above looks like it would have been amazing, didn't hold an audience.  Personally...I think it would have done well, it was during a time when Digital Recording was not really in the picture and this series was placed against Friends, on their time slot...Real smart there guys...

Sometimes the funniest old school movies are the whackiest films that not only include some of the greatest comedians of an era, but toss in a few other celebrities for good measure, like Demi Moore and the music of Digital Underground, along with their cameo appearances.  Movies like this we don't really see anymore. Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd and John Candy.  It was a perfect pairing, and was too ridiculous not to laugh at. So relax and kick back with this awesomely funny old school flick and have a good laugh. I love this movie and can allow myself to be a total dork when I watch it.  So here is a mindless Random Session to watch with some friends. Go ahead, Laugh your asses off over something that makes fun of a lot of different genres, categories of film, and people (respectively).  For those that might not be aware, this is one of the earliest films created by the same duo that brought us South Park.  Later on they created BASEketball and Team America.
