Tonight was the midnight premiere of Wrath of the Titans, and with it, an expectation of epic display and special effects to give life to a massive story and legend from the pages of Greek Mythology. I'm not sure that is what I got.

I am a firm believer that not all movies adapted from books should be judged against their literary counterparts; things that work in books don't always work in movies and vice versa. Therefore I'll do my best to keep the comparisons to a minimum and only mention the book when necessary, for better or worse.
So! Does The Hunger Games live up to all the hype, or does it fall flat on its face? Keep reading to find out!

Synopsis: "As the face of law enforcement in America for almost 50 years, J. Edgar Hoover was feared and admired, reviled and revered. But behind closed doors, he held secrets that would have destroyed his image, his career and his life." - J. Edgar on IMDb
Oh, magical Hulu. Thank you for giving me Godzilla (Gojira) in it's original black and white at 3 AM. Thank you for making me want to watch every kaiju film ever created. This (1954) classic movie is just that: a classic. I remember watching when I was younger and now that I stumbled across it again, it makes me fall in love with the giant monster all over again. Now that I'm older I can appreciate its message about nuclear irresponsibility and historical significance. Now please excuse me while I build miniature cities of paper, clay, and legos and go on a mini rampage of my own...Don't judge me...you know you want to do the same.
