Nishimi Kaoru has moved from city to city and school to school because of his father's job. So the first day at his new school was just routine for him. Being intellectual and the new transfer student, he has always been seen as an outcast and all Kaoru had to do was bare it until the next time he moved. But things were slightly different this time. First, he started to get close to the class president, Mukae Ritsuko, and, secondly, unlikely as it seemed, grew closer to Kawabuchi Sentaro. Sentaro was infamous for getting into fights, skipping class and was an overall bad boy. Strangely enough, the three of them find common ground in music, namely jazz, and Kaoru finds himself actually enjoying the new town.

Sometimes you got to keep it old school to appreciate the new. For those of you that after playing some UN Squadron (whether you found an emulator, or like me have your original SNES copy) want to learn a little more about it's origins - this is the OVA series from 1985.  The game itself was based on the Manga of the same name.  There is also a great remake for this title with 12 episodes that released in 2004.  You can watch these episodes on Hulu

This Friday we finally get to see the new Iron Man Anime from Marvel and Madhouse (Madhouse Japan) as well as Wolverine.  It premieres @ 11PM on G4. I've been excited about this series for awhile and (against my normal nature to check things out) did not download any of the Japanese Episodes fansubbed by a variety of groups. The first clips are a solid representation of the core origins of Iron Man. So I am excited to see the 12 episode season. 

What exactly is your price? That is what you consider when you are a contractor in Darker than Black. This action packed thriller has you on the edge of your seat with an interesting plotline, mysterious characters, and supernatural action sequences. Hei is in a post apocolyptic world where humans and superhumans, known as contractors are trying to survive the other. With another rapidly approaching doomsday coming, I was beside myself. Who should I cheer for? The contractors who have their own agenda and just want to survive? The rest of humanity who wants to do the same?

I personally love the idea of using your superpowers but it comes with a catch. Sure, you can teleport across the country, but you have to eat 20 hard boiled eggs if you do. What would your powers be? What is the price of it? With contractors, dolls, and talking cats around, I have no idea...but I have no doubt it would be cool!
