It's been a while since I've featured a comic cosplay, so in a roundabout celebration of the Avengers premiere this past Friday, enjoy this Marvel-based cosplay of one of the publisher's best characters!

For some reason, there's been a sudden boom in Princess Tutu cosplays recently. Not that I'm complaining! I am in love with that show beyond all reason and enjoy seeing cosplayers getting all dolled up in tutus and pointe shoes (or half-pointe if they're not experienced dancers). But what I love most is seeing people get creative with photos of said cosplayers in order to really get the characters' personalities across in a single image. I think this one is just perfect for the "evil" Princess Kraehe:

I have issues with MTV for a variety of reasons, but one thing they did right was a little show called Daria. Imagine my girlish squeal of glee when I stumbled across this photo:

The flailing arms of epic joy are still happening on my end! Just look at how perfect these two are! It's almost creepy how closely they resemble Daria and Jane, right down to the huge glasses and the (delicious-looking) pizza.
