We love hearing from our fans or from the community at large - whether its kudos or criticisms, we thrive on what the community says, because in the end its all about what you guys want - if we just put out what we want it doesnt really mean we’re about the community - so please keep the emails and Forum PM’s coming - this was a messge we got recently from a player in the community:

I can’t even make it to GAMME, to my knowledge, but I’m a do-it-for-the-community TO to the core so the way y’all are handling/approaching GAMME and its inclusion of Smash is inspiring and hits my TO-soft spot just right hahaha
I don’t know how prevalent Eric V is in the 2D scene, I just knew him from when I lived in Virginia, but we both basically felt the same way:
“I bleed for the scene.”
So yeah…this just me saying thanks for everything you’re doing for all the communities you’re helping cultivate.
All I can hope for is that Smash gets more exposure and that new people get into Melee.
It’s too incredible a game to die out just because Nintendo stopped making it, Gamecubes, and Gamecube controllers.

One of the reasons GPX exists is so that people like this can get to the events they need to get to - we try to put on events in as many possible locations as is humanly possible to help the budding communities attain the funding and gaming they need to succeed in the competitive community. GPX is going to start a Donation Fund which we will utilize to help sponsor travel for people to get to the event of their choice.
We will be starting this up this week. We will setup an account on paypal for these donations - More on this soon!

PAX East, SFX-360, GPX & Empire Arcadia
SFX-360 is putting on a great After Party across from the Hynes Convention Center in the Evening after PAX, and GPX will be providing equipment and setups to help host the festivities - Empire Arcadia will be in attendance to exhibition a variety of games, from Super Street Fighter IV to Tekken 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All Stars! and Rock Band 2.
GPX and Nerdfit will be @ PAX East as Guests and Press, this is an event to remember. MaGFest will also be in attendence promoting themselves and GAMME’s Jamspace. HYPE!

Team PIE: Feast Coast 2nd Serving, NYC
GPX will be working with Team PIE in New York on their second year of gaming tournaments. GPX will be there to provide equipment for both the SRK and Smash Communities which will be set up for 3 days of hardcore tourney madness.
If your in the New York or Tri-State area, its an easy train or cab ride over to the hotel being used for the tournament. We hope to see you all there. Oh yeah, its right after GAMME! So don’t miss it!

Gamers Clutch “Road to GAMME”
Gamers Clutch a Gaming league focusing on Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars and helping the gaming community at large with their travel and expenses for other events has placed a tab on their website about GAMME.
They are holding online tournaments to determine the best set of players for them to sponsor a specific amount of the travel, from the badges and entry fees to the potential airfare to come to GAMME, its entry based which means they need enough people to enter in their tournaments to achieve these goals. We are honored to have other groups want to help people get to our events as well as Devastation and EVO.
The Gaming community needs more groups like this that help get players to where they need to be. In the middle of the action!
Check out their site, we hope to see many things coming from this league.
